The
Compass
June 2017
Greetings friends,
After another invigorating year visiting IBSC member schools in India, Australia, New Zealand, Spain, United Kingdom, and Canada, we look forward to welcoming members to Baltimore for the 2017 IBSC Annual Conference at The Boys' Latin School of Maryland. In addition to stellar speakers and provocative, interactive workshops exploring the theme Beyond Innovation: Creativity, Discovery, and Engagement, the IBSC Action Researchers will share data and insights from the culmination of their in-depth, two-year research projects focused on Collaboration and the Power of Group Learning. Soon all members can access these cutting-edge reports in the new Action Research section of our website.
Safe journey to all traveling to Baltimore to celebrate boys' education. For our friends who cannot attend this year, we promise to post information on key learnings on the IBSC website when we return.
All the best,
David M. Armstrong

That ethos is meant to guide campus culture here, and for the most part it does. Our school's code of conduct requires that each student "behave as a gentleman at all times and in all places." That basically boils down to treating everyone with respect.
