Master & Young Teachers, JAN '15

IBSC Master Teachers and Young Teachers Conference

Friday 23 – Saturday 24 January 2015
Montgomery Bell Academy, Nashville, TN USA

The International Boys' School Coalition is proud to announce a professional development opportunity where more experienced teachers can share their wisdom with less experienced teachers, and less experienced teachers can share honestly and openly their concerns and aspirations with seasoned professionals. This workshop will be partially informed by the findings of a recent Teacher's College at Columbia University research project supported by the IBSC.

This gathering will be an opportunity for honest reflection by – and sincere appreciation for – those who have achieved teaching mastery. It will be a unique opportunity for anyone who aspires to individual personal growth to learn from acknowledged masters of their profession. In addition to the opportunity to mentor and learn, to share and grow, and to engage in a full and fruitful discussion of the teaching profession, you will enjoy the ambiance and rich cultural offerings of Music City, USA–Nashville TN.

Please reward one or two of your most experienced teachers along with one or two of your younger faculty most likely to appreciate this growth opportunity. Do so soon, since the conference will be limited to fifty participants! We look forward to their sharing experiences, insights, hopes, and dreams with like-minded participants and facilitators. See you in Nashville!
