Meet Karen

Karen Alexander

Karen Alexander brings extensive experience in accounting, financial management, and nonprofit operations to her role as accounting manager at IBSC. She has supported executive leadership and boards, managed budgeting and financial reporting, and overseen compliance and operational processes in a variety of settings. Most recently, she has provided project-based accounting and financial support through her own firm. She served as vice president and co-owner of a firm supporting an international nonprofit association, where she led financial operations, board reporting, compliance, and conference planning efforts.

Alexander holds a bachelor's degree in professional studies with highest distinction, a nonprofit management certificate from Arizona State University. She earned her certified association executive (CAE) credential in 2020. She is also a QuickBooks proadvisor and brings strong technical expertise across a range of financial and operational systems.
