Dear friends,
As calls for justice echo around the world, IBSC officially lends our voice to the growing chorus demanding equality for all people. The IBSC board of trustees has established a diverse global task force to provide strategic oversight for IBSC as we seek to build antiracist schools that embrace all intersectionalities of each boy's identity and create greater access and care for boys of color within member schools worldwide. We thank chair Jack Pannell, of Baltimore Collegiate School for Boys (United States), and every member of the task force for their passionate effort to promote inclusive learning communities. As leading global schools, it is our calling to act in pursuit of a more compassionate, equitable, and just society.
Continuing together toward this goal, 400+ educators from around the globe gathered online in July for the 2020 IBSC Virtual Conference. How wonderful to see you (on screen), chat, and connect with each other.
As we continue to embrace change and challenge, please know that the health, safety, and emotional well-being of all of you, the boys you serve, and your families remain at the top of our thoughts and deep in our hearts.

IBSC Affirms All Efforts to End Racial Inequity and Social Injustice
As a global organization, we recognize our overdue response to the violence and discrimination witnessed against people of color. As teachers of boys we have the added responsibility to combat thousands of years' worth of racial injustice, gender discrimination, male chauvinism, and misogyny all linked to deep-seated notions of racial identity. It is our desire to develop a new cadre of boys more inclined to consider the welfare of others and the impact of their actions on the communities they serve.

Listen to the Latest Podcast on Boys, Porn, and Sexual Health
Tune into the debut of season 2 of the IBSC Exploring Boys' Education Podcast on Boys, Porn, and Sexual Health. Justine Ang Fonté, director of health and wellness at The Dalton School in New York, highlights the importance of developing porn literacy for boys and faculty and discusses the links among pornography and healthy relationships, sex, and consent. She also suggests strategies for rolling out programs in boys' schools that adequately prepare students for healthy sexual engagements.
2021 IBSC Annual Conference

Board Approves New IBSC Strategic Plan
The IBSC board of trustees developed a new strategic plan to give structure, direction, and accountability to all aspects of our work. Special thanks to Chris Post, of The Boys' Latin School of Maryland (United States), for leading the charge and the many others who contributed their valuable insight. With a spirit of optimism and a sense of opportunity, we look forward to adapting to current challenges and supporting our schools, colleagues, and boys in facing and meeting dynamic conditions.

The Center for the Study of Boys at St. Christopher's School
In 2014, St. Christopher's School (United States) established The Center for the Study of Boys to promote best practices in engaging and teaching boys through research, professional development, and programming. It serves the St. Christopher's community — teachers, parents, and the boys themselves — and also provides resources locally and globally.
