Walk in the Woods Guided Audubon Tour
Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday
6:30 – 8:00 AM
Pre-registration required.
Begin your day with a peaceful morning walk through the Habitat, the beautiful Massachusetts Audubon sanctuary that borders Belmont Hill’s campus. Led by environmental studies teacher John McAlpin, this guided walk offers a chance to connect with nature while exploring the rich natural and human history of the area. Please wear comfortable shoes. Space is limited. Pre-registration required.
Woodshop Open Studio
Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday
6:30 – 8:00 AM

Step into Belmont Hill’s rich tradition of craftsmanship with a visit to its Woodshop Open Studio, where the school’s iconic hand-carved panels come to life. Explore the space where students learn the art of carving and contribute to this meaningful legacy. Watch demonstrations, ask questions, and even try your hand at carving under the guidance of our alumni panel carving instructors. Space is limited. Pre-registration required.
Rowing on the Charles River
Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday
6:30 – 8:30 AM
Pre-registration required.
Start your day on the water with a unique opportunity to row on the Charles River, led by Belmont Hill coaches and rowers. Whether you’re a seasoned rower or brand new to the sport, all are welcome. Buses will return you to Belmont Hill School by 8:30 AM. Please bring a change of clothes. You may access the Belmont Hill locker rooms to shower and get ready for the day; towels provided. Space is limited. Pre-registration required.
