Welcome to Boston: A Wicked Awesome Crash Course

The Accent? Fahgeddaboutit. If you can’t pahk ya cah in Hahvahd Yahd, you’re officially a tourist. (Spoiler: No one can. It’s not allowed.)

History. Everywhere. Boston didn’t just witness the birth of America—we instigated it. Walk the Freedom Trail, soak in the stories, then raise a glass in the same tavern where the revolutionaries did their best brainstorming. Oh, and that cobblestone you tripped on? A founding father probably tripped on it, too.

Boston Sports Fans Are a Whole Vibe. If you don’t already know, Bostonians (and pretty much all New Englanders) live and breathe their teams. Red Sox, Celtics, Bruins, Patriots—pick a team or prepare to be heckled. And the Curse of the Bambino? Don’t even get us started…

Dunkin’ Is a Way of Life. We drink the coffee iced in blizzards, order it in a language outsiders don’t understand (hint: “regular” means cream and sugar), and basically consider it an essential food group.

Traffic Is a Test of Character. Our roads were designed for horses, yet somehow we stuff SUVs, delivery trucks, cyclists, and rogue college students on scooters into them. It’s survival of the fittest and most roads are one-way. Take a deep breath and pray to Paul Revere.

Wicked = Very. It’s not just an adjective; it’s a lifestyle. Wicked smaht. Wicked hahd. Wicked good chowdah.
