Optional Morning Activities

Engage in one of these optional activities before regular conference programming starts on Tuesday and Wednesday. You must pre-register to attend any of the events (link coming soon). 

Each optional morning activity described below takes place on Tuesday and Wednesday, 7:30 – 8:45 AM. You may select to attend either Tuesday or Wednesday on the pre-registration form. Buses depart the conference hotels at 6:30 AM each morning to transport you to St. Stithians.

Learn to Play the Marimba

Learn to play in a marimba band with composer in residence Mike Sibanda.

Historical Walk

Take a guided tour of the St. Stithians campus with Alistair Stewart, including highlights of the history of the school and seeing the 1:1 scale replica of Nelson Mandela's prison cell.

Run on Campus

For the athletes, walkers, or anyone who wants to relax, take a run through the campus without having to negotiate vehicle traffic. Please pack a change of clothes. You may use school locker rooms to shower and change, with towels provided.
