IBSC Online Facilitator Application
Interested in participating in global conversations focused on boys and boys’ schools? IBSC offers online programs focused on current topics affecting boys’ schools and educating boys. Experts join us from around the world to deliver timely information and excellent resources to IBSC members, so we grow and learn together as educators. During these professional development events, we usually break into discussion groups to develop a deeper understanding of the topic and engage as a network of global learners. We seek volunteers to facilitate these conversations based on your region and interests.
Ideally, IBSC breakout group facilitators should have an interest in the program's topic, but you do not have to be an expert in the subject. IBSC helps facilitators get acquainted with the topic and the work of the presenter(s) prior to the event. Facilitators should have prior experience leading adult conversations and understand how to facilitate in an online setting. While IBSC makes every effort to make the facilitator’s role as simple as possible, facilitators must commit to a pre-session facilitator meeting (no more than 45 minutes) and each session of the event to which they are assigned (typically two 90-minute sessions). Facilitators should also set aside time before each session to properly prepare.
If you are interested, please submit this application for consideration for future programs. Thank you.
