Available exclusively to IBSC members on Zoom, the interactive session includes a presentation and breakout sessions for different age divisions followed by Q&A.

Group Screening Access for IBSC Members
Interested in using this session for professional development at your school? IBSC member schools can access the recording for group screenings at a discounted rate. Access to the recording, available after September 17, lasts 21 days. To register for group access, choose the group screening rate option on the registration form.
Group Screening
- IBSC member rate: US$1,500
The group screening option includes the recording of the presentation and Q&A. This option does not include access to the live event. One person will have access to the recording to screen it for colleagues at their member school.

Refund Policy IBSC will refund 90% of registration fees if a written request is received by September 3, 2024. No refunds will be made for cancellations received after this time. Schools seeking to register an alternate to replace a participant unable to attend should contact IBSC@theibsc.org.

Participation certificates: Participants present for the live online session will receive a certificate of participation within two weeks of the event.
Presenters
Dina Foster
Dina Foster is the head of educator AI training at EDUCATE Ventures Research. An experienced former secondary school deputy head teacher, she is currently a doctoral candidate at UCL with a research focus on how schools develop AI strategy to harness the benefits of AI and augment teaching and learning.
Foster gained her M.A. in education and technology and also holds a master’s in teaching from the Institute of Education. She is particularly interested in supporting school leaders with the development and implementation of successful edtech strategies to address school priorities.
Dave Turnbull
Dave Turnbull is the deputy head of educator AI training at EDUCATE Ventures Research. His seven years’ experience in primary classrooms, including five years as his school’s computing curriculum lead, has given him a front-row view to the challenges schools face in developing coherent digital strategies.
In his current role Turnbull is helping to build next-generation continuing professional development for leaders and teachers. He has a B.A. in media arts from Royal Holloway University of London and worked in film and television prior to completing a postgraduate certificate in education at Goldsmiths, specializing in early years. Turnbull planned, developed, and implemented his school's digital strategy, enabling him to guide the staff through remote teaching during the pandemic. He recently left teaching to become the primary caretaker for his son and is excited to apply his experience to system-level digital capacity-building in education.
