Awaken Boys in Your Class: An Arts-Based Approach to Transitive Learning

Researchers Michael Reichert and Richard Hawley have discovered that transitivity, an element in lessons unrelated to the subject, can stimulate boys’ interest and hold attention. The arts promote the kinesthetic, hands-on outlet boys crave and provide transitivity in non-arts classes.
