Conference Dress Code and Lanyards
Smart-casual attire is appropriate for all conference events. Comfortable shoes are recommended throughout the conference.
To ensure site security, please wear your lanyards at all times when on the school site and when attending conference events.
The color of the lanyard helps you identify Harrow staff and IBSC trustees:
- Blue lanyard: attendee
- Gold lanyard: Harrow staff
- White lanyard: IBSC staff and trustees
Conference Registration for Attendees and Spouses/Partners
Conference registration for all attendees, including spouses/partners and workshop presenters, runs 2:00 – 3:30 PM on Monday in the War Memorial Building at Harrow School. After checking in, enjoy a tour of the school before the opening plenary session.
The Information Desk in the War Memorial Building offers support throughout the conference.
Parking at Harrow School
Parking is available at Harrow School via Garlands Lane HA1 3GF. Please note that London operates a congestion charge zone closer to the center of the city. Get more information at this link https://tfl.gov.uk/modes/driving/congestion-charge. Further, Harrow on the Hill sits within a ULEZ zone. Meals and Snacks
Conference registration includes lunch on Tuesday and Wednesday served in the Shepherd Churchill Dining Hall. If you registered special dietary requirements, find offerings that meet your requirements at the serveries. If you have any questions onsite, ask one of the catering staff members.
Find tea, coffee, and other refreshments available in the Old Harrovian Room (on the second floor of the War Memorial Room) throughout the conference. The Old Harrovian Room and Masters Room also host exhibitors throughout the conference.
Enjoy other snacks and refreshments available throughout the school, principally on Chapel Terrace and in the workshop rooms.
IT Hub and Wi-Fi Services and Support
Throughout the conference Harrow offers Wi-Fi in all areas of the school. Find the IT Hub in the War Memorial Building (in the Philathletic Room) at the below times. Our IT colleagues can help you with all technology matters, including delivering workshops.

Exhibit Hall
Throughout the conference visit exhibitors, organizations with whom Harrow School has a relationship, in the Old Harrovian Room. Look for signs directing you to this easily accessible room on the first floor of the War Memorial Building next to Speech Room. Meet exhibitors during these times:

- Wednesday, 8:30 – 9:00 AM and 10:15 AM – 2:00 PM

The Hill Shop
The Hill Shop, located on the High Street, sells Harrow apparel and gifts. It also has a wide variety of office products (stationery, pens, notebooks, etc.) for attendees who may have forgotten something from home.

Harrow School Fitness Club
You may use of sports facilities at the school during the conference. The swimming pool and gym are available for your use at these times:

You must complete a Health and Safety form before usage. The Fitness Club’s reception can assist with this.
Quiet Space and Well-Being
Throughout the conference you may visit the Main Chamber in the Vaughan Library for a quiet place to review a presentation, send an e-mail, or read a book or newspaper. If you require printing, please liaise with the IT Hub. The Vaughan Library is open:

During the conference and following the Welcome Reception, the Chapel Terrace provides an area to relax and catch up with colleagues in the sunshine (fingers crossed!). Pull up a deck chair and enjoy the British summer!
Transportation Between Harrow School and Conference Hotels and Offsite Events
Buses transport attendees between the school and official conference hotels each day of the conference. You may board at these locations:
- Hilton London Wembley: Lakeside Way and Empire Way
- Ibis London Wembley: Empire Way/South Way Junction
- Novotel London Wembley: Fulton Road
Returning buses from Harrow School drop you off at Empire Way, an easy walk to all hotels. A limited shuttle service runs from Harrow-on-the-Hill Tube station to the school on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday mornings of the conference.
