Program

St. Augustine’s is hosting an invitation only event for local schools that will highlight Dr. Abigail Norfleet James and David Armstrong. Boys’ education expert Abigail James, a renowned adolescent psychologist and best-selling author of The Parents Guide to Boys, will present her latest findings on brain research and best practices. David Armstrong, Executive Director of the International Boys’ Schools Coalition (IBSC), will also join the program. Mr. Armstrong will welcome attendees on behalf of the IBSC, and share information on upcoming professional development opportunities that support and engage teachers and leaders of boys. Following the event, boys’ education expert Abigail James, renowned adolescent psychologist and best-selling author of The Parents Guide to Boys will keynote the evening by sharing the latest research demonstrating why males learn differently than females and, more importantly, how you can employ various strategies to help young men get the most out of school and life. This program is open to all Catholic School families with boys in grades 5-8. Join us Monday, October 19th at 6:30 in the gym for this fabulous lecture.

  • The daytime portion of this event is by invitation only.
  • The evening program, from 6:30–8:00 p.m., is open to all Catholic School families with boys in grades 5-8.
