A Good Man, 8-9 March 2013, St. Alban’s College, Pretoria

On behalf of Headmaster Tom Hamilton, along with IBSC trustees Roger Cameron and David Knowles, we welcome you to these web pages for the IBSC-South Africa regional conference Archive.

Over the course of the conference, we investigated what it means to be “a Good Man” and probe “masculinity” and “character” in the context of boys’ lives today, and in the world they will soon command. By virtue of their expertise and focus, boys’ schools are uniquely positioned to nurture the development of “good men” for the multiple challenges of a changing world.
