IBSC Mental Health and Well-Being for Younger Boys

St. George's SchoolAn IBSC Online Program with Shimi Kang
Co-hosted by St. George's School (Canada)

January 25 and February 1, 2022

Technology is “the fire of our time:” a human innovation that when used well can take us further than ever before—or if not used well, can burn us and burn down our village.

Statistics show that young people check their phones more than 150 times each day and spend approximately seven hours per day on screens, unrelated to school and homework—even before the pandemic. These rates skyrocketed during the lockdown and now boys need to rely on screens more than ever. Given technology’s links to problems like anxiety, addiction, and cyberbullying, parents and teachers must reset children’s tech habits toward learning, connection, self-care, and adaptability.

Join psychiatrist, #1 best-selling author, and mom of three, Shimi Kang, for two interactive sessions.
