Hear from Sandra Boyes and Trish Cislak as they highlight their focus on student-led participatory action research. The Crescent Centre for Boys’ Education (CCBE) has partnered with Michael Reichert and the University of Pennsylvania Graduate School of Education in the Student Participatory Action Research Collaborative (SPARC). This provides boys with a framework for investigating various issues in an effort to contribute student voice and agency toward improving school culture. Discover how grade 10 boys share their experiences and provide recommendations. Year 2 of this program allows the boys to track the impact of their recommendations, truly appreciating the nature of action research.

Access this latest presentation in the research series on the IBSC Shorts platform from September 26 – October 2, 2022. You may interact with the presenters and other participants on the class discussion board to grow and learn together September 26 - 29.
