They've Walked in Our Shoes: The Power of Old Boys' Stories to Develop Character in Year 5 Boys

In this research project, four Old Boys of the College were chosen to share their personal stories, which exemplify and embody one of the “Fine Scots Boy” qualities. After sharing their story in a grade-wide context, a class of Year 5 students were then invited to a “fireside chat” with the Old Boys, providing an opportunity to debate questions, share their own stories and together consider how they could display these qualities in contexts within their own lives.
