Student Agency and Portal Technology: A Case for Boys as Curriculum Designers

As independent school educators, we have a multitude of resources available to us to enhance our teaching practice and engage students. Most notably, our resources often include cutting-edge technology and highly skilled students. In this action research project, I examined how leveraging student motivation, technical expertise, and experience could enable Grade 6 boys to design curriculum and problem-solve in their Technology class.
